Boundary Waters Trip

REGISTRATION FOR THIS TRIP WILL OPEN JUNE 1st

Itinerary:

Saturday, August 14

We will leave Maineville at 6:30 a.m. and drive to Ely, Minnesota, spending the night in the Outfitter Camp's hostel.  You have the option to secure airline reservations and transportation from the Duluth or Minneapolis airports if you prefer this to the 14 hour van ride that is included. {Van riders should plan to arrive in Maineville at 6 a.m.}

Sunday, August 15

This day is spent with the Outfitter Company at the lake preparing our gear and finalizing our maps.  There will be time to relax and enjoy each others company.  We will once again spend the night in the Outfitter Camp's hostel.

Monday, August 16 - Friday, August 20

We will be canoeing and fishing through lakes and rivers with breathtaking beauty by day, and having campfires, conversation and camaraderie by night.  

Friday, August 20

We will be picked up by the Outfitter at the end of the day and will spend the night at the Outfitter Camp's hostel again, sharing stories of our adventures.

Saturday, August 21

We will depart Ely early in the morning for the drive back to Maineville.  Those who have flown in will leave the hostel at the appropriate time to return their rental car and catch their return flight.  It is possible that there may be some interest in sharing a rental car with other men.

Your 8 day adventure into the wild will be $490.  This includes transportation, all gear (Kevlar canoes and top of the line camping gear), and meals between drop off on 8/16 to pickup on 8/20.  You are responsible for clothing, airline and car reservations (if preferred), and fishing gear (optional).  Fishing Licenses are available for purchase in Ely (additional cost).

Registration is open and will fill up fast.  Maximum 8 men, first come first served. Contact us to get on the waiting list if this trip is full.
